Labor Day potluck!

You’re invited to the St. Louis Catholic Worker’s next (approximately monthly) potluck, the Labor Day edition!

We’re excited to have Theo back with us after his summer visiting the Catholic Worker communities of Europe. He’ll be sharing briefly and informally at 7ish for those interested in hearing about the work going on at the European CWs.

Our friends at Sophia House (4547 Gibson) will be hosting and we’ll be eating around 6. So bring a friend and a dish to share (if you want to), but most importantly bring yourself.

Reach out with any questions.

Hope to see you on Monday September 4!  Lindsey, Chrissy, and Theo

Clarification of Thought: The Economy of Francis

Join us Monday November 18 at 6 PM as we discuss The Economy of Francis document ( found here ). The authors hope to "propose a vision that we consider in tune with the radical nature of [Pope Francis'] teachings and the revolutionary nature of Christian faith. We also want to collaborate in creating and demonstrating alternative experiences of living and working that allow us to make use of the goods of nature in ways that respond, not to the logic of the god money, but to our people’s need to live well." You might also want to check out the Message from Pope Francis on the Occasion of the Fourth World Meeting of Popular Movements ( found here ) in preparation for the discussion. No time for reading?
