Recurring Peace Vigil: Boeing St. Charles
Tuesdays at 6:45 AM starting October 22
Join us as we gather to hold signs near the Boeing facility in St. Charles to pray for peace and hopefully to open the conscience of the those working in the war industry. We will begin gathering each Tuesday morning at 6:45 at the Hardee's at 2701 MO-94, St. Charles, MO 63301.

Last Sunday Potluck
Sunday October 27th - 5 PM
Bring a friend and some food to share. Hope to see you there!

Prayer For A Better World
Wednesday November 6th - 6 PM
Join us as we come together in prayer and bring our hopes for a more peaceful and just world to the community and our creator. All folks of goodwill are invited to this welcoming and inclusive gathering in our christian tradition.

Clarification of Thought: The Economy of Francis
Monday November 18th - 6 PM
How do we create  "an alternative system that will overcome and eradicate the worldwide idolatry of money that structures the global economy and our lives"? The Economy of Francis begins laying the groundwork of how that might look based on what the authors "consider in tune with the radical nature of (Pope Francis's) teachings and the revolutionary nature of Christian faith." To prepare for the conversation we'll be reading two texts, The Economy of Francis document found here which is in direct conversation with Pope Francis' Message of the Holy Father Francis on The Occasion of The Fourth World Meeting of Popular Movements found here.

  All upcoming events are at our house of hospitality 8617 Mora Ln unless stated otherwise. - Faith-FIlled Coffee featuring the St. Louis Catholic Worker  March 9th - 10 AM  4556 Telegraph Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129  Learn about the Catholic Worker movement's "revolution of the heart" from the StL CW as they join St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for their monthly 'Faith-FIlled Coffee' speaker series. The doors to the parish center will open at 9:30 with the discussion of the CW's beliefs and values beginning at 10. -StL CW Prayer  March 12th - 6 PM  Join us for this informal community-led time of bringing our joys and concerns to our community and the creator. -Clarification of Thought: An Intro to the Biblical Year of Jubilee  March 17th - 6:30 PM  As the Catholic Church proclaims 2025 a Jubilee Year, our friend Matt Hubbard will present on and lead a discussion about the Jubilee Year as described in the Torah and the Wisdom we can gain...

April at the StL CW

  All these great upcoming events will happen at 8617 Mora Ln. -As he prepares this spring to return to Arizona in support of Apache Stronghold's fight to protect their sacred land, Theo will be hosting an informal discussion on the struggle to save Oak Flat at our March potluck on Sunday the 30th. The potluck starts at 5 with the Oak Flat chat starting around 6 for those interested in participating. Afterwards we'll "pass the hat" to help cover expenses related to his participation in this project. If you can't make the potluck but would either like to learn more about Oak Flat or contribute to Theo's travel costs you can reach out to theodorekayser@yahoo.com or venmo/paypal @TheoKayser.
