Thank you, Thank you -- for your sincere and loving support as we have begun this new adventure! It keeps us grounded and grateful that we have a community to sustain us and co-create with us as we work to create a more just St. Louis. We believe that our work to build a house of hospitality is possible with our abundant community: YOU. Moving forward, we plan to host monthly gatherings the last Sunday of the each month . We hope this space can be one where we build community with one another, discuss shared values and visions, and simply enjoy each other. We will be having a potluck this month. Please bring food, blankets, and chairs to share. If you are pressed, please come even if you can't bring anything. While Theo is going to be away in Europe for the summer visiting the Catholic Worker communities of that continent ( follow his adventures ), Chrissy and Lindsey are going to continue working to figure out a space for a house of hospitality. "Do we fix up the house Chrissy owns in need of major renovations? Or look for a more move-in-ready place to buy?" is the big question right now. Let us know if you can help facilitate either of those options! Chrissy and Lindsey are also hoping to host semi-regular community building events over the summer. Liturgies, round table discussions, and potlucks are all being considered!   Hello all! Chrissy Kirchhoefer, Lindsey Myers, and Theo Kayser have decided to work towards opening a Catholic Worker in St Louis. Each of us have been involved in respective Catholic Worker communities from Phoenix to Los Angeles to Colombia, MO and Karen house! We want to invite you to join our community and bring your gifts and skills to share alongside us.  We are having our first gathering on April 30th from 2-6pm at Sophia house 4547 Gibson ave. At 4pm, we will have a conversation about our vision and hopes for our new community and our current needs for support. We will be having a cookout! It'd be great if you RSVP, but please show up even if you don't.  Wanna bring a dish to share? That's wonderful, but no pressure!
